Rail Sensor Fault / How to remove pipe lead?

Afternoon All,

First time posting.....

I currently own a Ford Focus 65 Plate Eco Boost 1.l 5 Door Hatchback.

I have a P0087 error code according to the ECU read. I have already re-placed the fuel rail sensor but that hasn't sorted the issue. After careful reasearch and please feel to correct me if i am wrong, I have been informed that its this part in the picture below  that needs replacing. However I am having trouble removing the pip lead cable. Appartently you need a special tool which I have been quoted over 150 pounds.

Does any one know how to remove this part? Am I being over charged for this apparant tool? Any other advise

This won't be much help to you but my fuel pump connector looks different to the one in your photo, (it's got 2 square tabs either side).  I can't find anything in my haynes manual about removing that connector, maybe it's not supposed to come off the pump idk?
