Tomsfiesta
Hello all, I currently have a 2006 Mk6 Fiesta Style model which doesn't have front fogs fitted. I am in need of a front bumper as mine is damaged. Can I install a bumper with front fogs easy enough? Is all the wiring there just to plug the lamps in? What about the light switch on the dash - will that need to be changed for one to accommodate front and rear fogs as my switch only has the rear option? Fiesta1.25
Hi I did this to my old mk6 very easy to do, all you will need is the loom which connects the two front fogs together, and the piece of wiring that connects into your car, which will be in place, will be easy to find once you remove the front bumper, you will also need the replace your light switch insider the car with one equipped for front and rear fogs
Tomsfiesta
I know this will sound a little anal but can I fit a front bumper and figs, but not actually connect the fogs up. So have it just for looks or are fogs tested during an MOT?
TomsFocus
Yes you can absolutely do that, front fogs aren't tested as part of MOT yet. (New cars will be tested from 2018) It's worth noting a smashed fog lens is an MOT fail due to sharp edges though so if it breaks just remove it or tape it before MOT. Tomsfiesta
Ok cool. Worth knowing. I'll bear that in mind when I look for replacements. Prefer the look of the fog lamp/bumpers
