Hi all

I realize I should know the answer....

I have a MK 2.5 Focus 1800 petrol

Last service i had done was in February (not many miles ago) I had the following done :

oil + Filter

Air Filter

Cabin Filter

Spark Plugs

Pollen Filter

i think this was a "major" service

so next February , do i need an interim service done ? or the other 3rd option ? car has done 70K

there is nothing in the service book  about the 60K service or what ever

it just says interim 12K or 1 year

Major service 25K  or 2 years

Personally, I would just go for the interim service 🙂. The other thing to look at getting done at your car's age/ mileage is the timing belt if it has one, but I'm not sure, the 1.8 petrol might be a chain.  Worth finding out anyway.

Thanks

My car is chain driven no belt to worry about

Cabin filter & pollen filter is the same thing btw.  That should be done yearly ideally.

Spark plugs and air filter only need doing every 30k/3 years (roughly) so you'll only need an oil change this time as suggested above.  Interim service from an indy or Motorcraft service Ford will be fine.
