MitchEcoBooster
Hi, ive had a look for a discussion about this but can’t seem to find it, but basically I have a focus 1.0 Ecoboost on a 62 plate. Currently with 76,000 on the clock. I’ve noticed a tapping noise coming from my engine when I am idling at 750rpm, when I rev it upto 800/900 the tapping disappears. I service my car every 10,000 miles without fail and use Shell 5w20 engine oil and NGK spark plugs. I have also noticed when I rev the car and release the gas the whole car shakes when the RPM drops to around 900-1250rpm. Is therr anything i could possibly look out for? Bradderz1980
I’ve noticed the same noise and found that it was my turbo actuator rod rattling on the metal surrounding it
