Have you tried a master reset? In the general settings.

If not, it sounds like the ACM has gone kaput. This is the box underneath the screen that houses the radio components and CD slot.

Do you have an OBD cable and Forscan software? If you're comfortable with such things, you can try resetting the ACM module.

If not, you could pick up another ACM fairly cheaply (if you can find one on its own on eBay, else from a scrappie).

It's 4 torx screws to take it out and replace, less than 15 minutes work.

Edit: yes, it's as I thought, most are sold on eBay as a complete kit with the screen and fascia which makes them pricey. Best bet if it does need replacing is to go to a scrapyard.

Lever the cover along the bottom of the fascia off, there's 2 T25 screws behind. Undo and lift the fascia from the bottom and carefully up the sides and unplug the cable, this reveals the ACM under the screen. 2 more bolts, one either side at the top, then the unit pulls out with a sharp tug forwards. Undo the plugs. It's that easy!

You can at least try this on your own car to see if connections want reseating. It's unlikely but worth a try!
