Johnbont
Hello I’m thinking of having reversing sensors fitted to my fiesta and wondered if it was worth having Ford’s own fitted or are there some better/cheaper alternatives. I just want the ordinary ones that beep when getting close. I don’t want camera etc. thanks
Eric Bloodaxe
Assuming you are talking Fiesta ( you posted in the Focus forum) Ford dealers normally fit the X-vision sensors which just beep as you near an object, as you mention. I've had them on a couple of cars in the past and they worked fine. The official Ford price is now around £300 fitted I think.
Johnbont
Thanks Roger sorry about posting in the wrong forum, you’re quite correct it is a fiesta! Thanks again John
johnboy1958
Hi John, I have put my own reversing sensors in my last two car's 😞 It's a fairly simple job, and a lot cheaper than ford:( Both times I paid less than £20, and they both did the job fine 🙂 Hope this helps ?? MrRedman
I’ve bought Cisbo ones from eBay not fitted them yet but it looks straight forward I’m just waiting for better weather
