b9y
Hey guys, I'm trying to find how to remove the Travel FX radio from my 2010 1.8tdci. I can't find any info, only that apparently you only need a screwdriver? Does anyone have any advice on how I can do this? Thanks!
TomsFocus
The two triangular pieces either side of the radio pop out to reveal screws. The ashtray/cubby under the climate panel pops out to reveal screws. The whole front fascia comes away and then there are 4 screws holding the radio in. You're better off with a trim tool to pop the plastics out as a screwdriver is likely to cause damage.

Yeah, you can sometimes fit a flat-blade across the Torx slots if the screws aren't too tight but buying the correct tool is obviously better! A selection of Torx sizes is often handy for modern cars anyway. As for the trim tools, they are just called trim tools, as in Stoneys link.
