Lol, just as I hit the post button I remembered your deep admiration for this chap!

Just for a laugh, here are some of Prof Neil Ferguson's previous 'predictions', yet the BBC still insist on using him as a reliable 'covid' expert - my cat is more of an expert!

Foot & mouth 2001 predicted 150,000 deaths, reality, >200.

BSE 2002 predicted  50,000, reality 177.

Bird flu 2005 predicted 150,000, reality 282.

Swine flu 2009, predicted 65,000, reality 457.

Covid 2020, predicted 500,000, reality >150,000.

Of course, he's an 'expert' so people think he knows stuff 🤣

Now a precedent has taken place, let us know if you feel like this in 5 years time👍

It will be no more hardship wearing a mask in 5 years time than it is now. I have happily continued to wear them in crowded places even when they were not mandated.

mmm... just think, in 5 years time I will still be exempt, so couldn't care less if you wear one or not, doesn't bother me in the slightest except I still won't be able to understand a word you utter LOL

Perhaps we can get your cat on instead. I'm sure he/she will make purrfect sense!

Very occasionally, I do read something by Prof Ferguson that I think makes good sense. He reminds me of a chap I worked with who was forever coming out with "brilliant ideas". About 95% of them were rubbish/completely impractical but every now and then he'd come out with an absolute winner. The trick was being able to distinguish between the two.

At least my chap kept his pants on, also!😀

I wear one as it may help to protect the people around me in an enclosed crowded space. It is a small thing to do.

I also keep away from people who show signs of being ill by coughing or sneezing, always have done, long before Covid came along.

My female cat, at random, would have a higher strike rate! LOL

Now, there's a common sense thing that I have also done for decades! See, self protection, the best way forward...

Hang on, the 5 years isn’t up yet,ha ha.

Yeh, but it sure feels like it LOL

They better not ask my local doctors surgery about BMI, unless they have change policy after the main doctor left . His attitude and surgery policy was BMI is a load of rubbish and tells you little about health .

BMI is 99.9% fully disproved but the medical profession continues to cling to it

I wear as mask as it's no trouble and I always cough if people get too close to make them step away.

I shopped at the Co-op for my weekly,Sainsbury’s are going to lose my trade for awhile ha ha.Maybe for good.

Are Sainsbury's 'policing' masks then, haven't heard?

I didn’t visit to test them out😠I couldn’t be bothered with a possible confrontation, not that I’m bothered. If Sainsbury’s came out with a clear message and said their for or against enforcing mandatory mask wearing that would a step forward.

In 6 months, the only 'confrontation' I have ever had was with my local Ford parts dept. When I went in, the guy asked me if I could put my mask on. I simply said, 'sorry buddy, I don't have one I'm exempt. If you're scared I'm going to kill you I don't mind standing at the door and shouting at you'. He then just gestured for me to come forward, to his protective caged perspex shielding! LOL

Exactly, you shouldn’t have to explain to anyone, none of their business. If they think they’re protecting themselves, good luck with that 👍

Yesterday i had my third shot of the Pfizer vaccine.

First dose was a Moderna shot.

Second was Moderna too. It drained the whole energy of my body and fever gave me a good hit (38,5Celsious for two days). After all these symptoms the only thing that stayed on my body was a dizzyness...for seven days! The nurse that shot me on my arm was playing darts with the injections...she looked like Arnold Swartzeneger in a female version...😄

My third shot was Pfizer because the vaccination center was far away from my residence.

I feel a little dizzy right now but no fever,no headache,no pain in the arm at all.

I hope that all the people will understand the necessity of the covid vaccine and stop being so irresponsible about the other members of the families.

CoronaVirus kills every day 97 people at average here in Greece.

And Greece is a very small country...

I hope health and prosperity to all the people of the world!!!

The Moderna one does seem to have more of a kick to it. I had it for my booster after 2 dozes of the Astra Zeneca one and the next day I felt like I had too much to drink the day before, and that was only a half doze of Moderna, which is what is recommended for the booster here.

I'm perfectly fine now and never had any regrets about getting the booster.

There is growing evidence but research is still ongoing that many of the fatal  blood clotting  cases have been directly injected into blood vessels or leaked into blood vessels rather than being jabbed into the muscle. So this development is interesting.

Both been for our boosters this morning in a neighbouring village as our own Doctors are not jabbing anyone until the back end of next January. Had a 10 minute wait upon arrival mainly due to people not having their vaccine number to hand. 30 mins later we were both jabbed and back in the car on our way home.

Anyone else raging at the government mass hysteria over the 'omicron' variety? At the time of writing, there has not been one single death attributed to it, and that's not in the UK, that is worldwide!

All I want for Christmas is for the government to allow it's citizens to 'live with it', as they have repeated so many times. Maybe someone could whisper into BoJo's ear at his next Xmas party...

I just can’t believe he actually said there is a discussion to be had about compulsory jabbing…………..No there isn’t!
