Gonna reply to a couple of you in one hit. YES i keep spouting this mantra, YES close borders 100%. Goods can still enter, drivers not allowed out of the cabs, non perishables can sit for 48-72 hours in ventilated warehouses, perishables can be washed. It takes a little extra effort and the will to do it. Send ALL boat people straight back same with hiders on lorries etc. They come here because we are a soft touch, they've come through atleast half a dozen countries to get here, disincentivise the UK. We the UK can and should be self supporting as much as possible. Make our own goods and services, see to our own first, was this not what brexit was primarily about. Goods are all about global supermarkets that regulate the market, how did we as a nation exist before them [retorical question] The bleeding heart liberals hold too much sway, human rights are a good thing but have gone too far. As an analogy its like the NHS today as againt what its original premise was [life saving care free at the point of delivery] and not the fat bloated nanny corporation it has become.

I'll leave it there i could go on. Anyway, I run a small business and to be on the safe side had this option on. No regrets so far!

The good news: It'll likely be over by March, maybe February, and omicron may be the most infectious form this virus is able to take (it's already the most infectious virus known it appears). And in that case, it will continue to dominate future mutations as they occur while, perhaps becoming even less capable of causing damage to the host.

The good news is that it's over now. They need to stop mass hysterical testing, and stop isolation. All vulnerable are now triple jabbed, and numerous non vulnerable are also multiple jabbed. The only ones that don't believe in the vaccine is the government, and the electorate will not forgive them for that...

There has not been one recorded death this winter of flu, something that in the past has killed upwards of 60,000 - the whole thing is now a nonsense.

Good news is the germy positives are dropping like fly's off my Flight to gran canaria at weekend, flight now only half full. Result!

Zero Covid anyone?China have locked down two cities; one of 13 million and another of 1.5 million since the 27th of December.Trapped in their houses looking forward to the occasional home delivery of food scraps, if their lucky.
This was the dream of some of our so called eminent scientists were looking to emulate.Lock downs don’t work, look at Australia and New Zealand now - after their draconian rules. Some are still on the quest to lock us all down again! Never again I say, what say you?

I say that at long last, and after 4 months of me arguing the same, heard an 'expert' on the radio today, a Dr Clive Dix, who was advocating that we stop this mass hysterical testing immediately, and all the associated isolations! I do hope the blonde buffoon was listening!

All the 'vulnerable' have now been multiple jabbed - we can do no more if we must, 'learn to live with it...'

I see from the official figures that, despite the problems with availability of test kits they managed 1,703,612 tests yesterday.

It's getting a bit like the film Field of Dreams where Kevin Costner is told "if you build it, they will come" or in this case, "if you test them, they will be positive"!😀

On a slightly different topic, but one that we have banged on about here, I have at last seen recommendations in the press recently from their medical columnists, that if you are going to wear facemasks, use FFP2 or 3 that actually work.

Aawww, you mean that old T/Shirt I use to wear round my face was useless?? 🤣🤣🤣

Oh, and the FFP2/.3 mask only works if properly adjusted, and you don't touch it, and you change it after 3 to 4 hours. All things the general public DON'T do as proved by Austria, France, Italy, and Germany who all mandated the proper medical mask for public use in January 2021, and who all saw infections rise LOL (They do work in a medically controlled environment though!)

The evidence that face cloths/blue disposable coverings don’t work are all around us in our society.

Anyone seen a nose peeper out and about ? Ha ha.Apparently it’s not just a rumour.

If you mean the one that resembles a Womble, he was last spotted at the Covid conference earlier this evening 😉

Well, as I posted a couple of days ago, the flights to and from gran canaria is emptying nicely now for us for the weekend. Dropping by approx 10 passengers a day. None sat around us. At this rate either it will be a nice empty flight or no flight. One benefit of covid. 😀😀😀

Just seen tonight that Israel are now on "Jab number 4" or "Booster number 2" depending on how you look at it.

They claim that it gives you "up to" 5 times more protection than just having the 1 Booster.

So that means 5 x 0 = .......... Zero !!!

200,000 testing positive per day, far less deaths than under Delta. Of those that have died was it Omicron, Delta, were they vaccinated or not. I'm triple jabbed due to underlying conditions so have some sort of protection, Am NOT bothered about possible side effects in the distant future.

Just seen on the news, we can look forward to 90+thousand chinese hong kongers to add to those illegals and others  already avoiding the system.

Mass testing serves very little purpose except to give guidance on number infected, not with what tho.

Just seen that today, 1.2 Million folk are at home twiddling their thumbs, 'isolating' following testing LOL Still, we don't really need all those NHS workers, delivery drivers, train drivers etc etc at work. Much better they be at home adding to NetFlix profits 🤣

but just think of all those nasty emissions that are being saved. The 'Tree Huggers' are in a frenzy and the dolphins are having a party 🤣

To put that into absolute context, how many under 60s have died because the NHS shut down treating cancer, heart disease, and various other life threatening illnesses??

Yes, like I said my next door neighbour sadly died of cancer because his treatment was delayed.I think people are slowly waking up to the unnecessary madness.

Too little too late I'm afraid and the longer the bumbling Womble carries on waffling along the worse it's going to get.

I should declare an interest in that last year, almost every cancer follow up consultation I had (following recent bowel cancer treatment) was cancelled! Only now, am I getting an appointment to 'see' someone as opposed to a nice chat on the phone!

Sir Keir Starmer , the man that has a mask permanently attached to his face has just caught Covid for the sixth time allegedly.

Proof, as if anymore was needed, that face coverings really do not work 😂

Could care less about a sports person & 'covid'. To be fair to him, I absolutely respect his stance that his medical history (on having or not having a vaccine) is entirely his own business. The controversy arises from the authorities tripping over themselves to accommodate such a personality, not his fault at all. If they do end up admitting him, they should treat EVERYONE the same and drop their ludicrous rule!
