Display not working

Hi, 

I have a 2018 ecosport, my drivers information display which shows my digital speedometer and other things is not working, only showing my mileage in the top corner. 
I started my engine after work and the fuel light came on and the display didn’t turn on, while driving home the fuel light went off but after multiple times of stop and starting my car the display has not turned back on 

best to mention my car has been in to the Ford garage two days ago to change a damaged heat shield, is there anything I can do to turn it back on or do I need to take it back again?

Hi Kirstie, the most likely answer is you are going to have to take it back to the dealer. BUT, there is one thing you could try first. Disconnect the negative side of the battery and leave it off for 3 or 4 minutes before reconnecting it. This will give the cars "computer" a kick and often well fixs this type of problem. Just make sure you know the code for your radio before you disconnect the battery, also you will probably have to re-teach the electric windows for the one shot open/close function to work but that no real problem. Let me know how you get on.

Hi all today I took my car to have the rear break light bulb changed as it wasn't working since then my display for the radio doesn't light up it's a ford ecosport 2014 and the radio doesn't go off automatically now either can anyone help?

Hi Lucy, I kind of think replacing the brake light is not likely to have caused the problems you have now.

Is it keyless entry and keyless ignition ?

Hello, this is very frustrating with the radio/navigation system completely OUT. We tried to disconnect the battery thing and still does not WORK. We went to the dealer and they want $4000.00 to replace it because the warranty is out. ABSOLUTELY CRAZY !!! Was there a recall on this from FORD? How is this acceptable??

Not everything lasts forever. Some people are lucky and things last a long time and every now and then someone gets a part that doesn’t last as long.

Very difficult to pass comment or offer advice since you haven't filled in any of the member details. So we have no idea of the model, the engine, the age, or the country.

Perhaps you could fill the information and then someone here may be able to offer help. Is your system Sync 1, 2 or 3 ? how old is it ?

Kristie is what is known as a "One Post Wonder" they joined 26th Feb 2021, whinged and whined about their problem and then never checked back to see if anyone offered an answer.
