Car stops and information says power reduced

I have a Mk 8 140 bhp st line fiesta three times now car stops by itself applying the brakes and a information on the dash says Brakes applied power reduced has anyone else had this problem and if so do they know how to fix my car is a 2019 with 12500 miles thank you
