To be safe you really must switch of the "ENGINE SHUTDOWN" option in your cars settings !

      UPDATE 11.30am 25/8/21 My Ford Dealer phoned today and said if I take a 32GB flash drive down to him he will download the Map files for be and I can pick it up in a day or so.

      @Catman50 I have tried the download again this evening and it started to download immediately. Would be worth you trying as something has been changed at Ford's end. I won't know until tomorrow if it

      Thanks Catman50, Ford Sync & Maps Support have confirmed in a chat session that SyncMyRide folder and autoinstall.list is correct. I have since uploaded the new F10 Maps into My Sync 3 3

    If you need to download large files in future that take a long time to download you can disengage the "Auto engine off", this helps if you want to leave your car running (in your garage or drive) and leave it to download. You can find this on your cars "Information Display" under "Settings" then "Vehicle Settings" you will then find "Auto engine off  with a tick in the box" just remove the tick to disengage this option. The tick will return again when you next start your car. I used this when I successfully downloaded my F10 maps today.

    Sorry I just noticed you have a Focus, maybe your model doesn't have this option. You could check your manual under "Vehicle Settings" to check.
