RamElle
Hi I'm returning to a trusty Fiesta tomorrow after a few years away (Peugeot - never again, Kia - lovely, reliable car, Citroen - see 'Peugeot') I'm picking up a beautiful lime green 09 plate Zetec. However, the people selling it (private sale) do not have a locking wheel nut and say it didn't come with one. I'm worried because I understand it can be an expensive job if you don't have one. Can anyone advise please if a) there definitely should be one b) what sort of cost I'm looking at to get a new/replacement c) there is another option at all? Or should I avoid buying it like the plague?! Thanks in advance. I'm RamElle by the way, from Derby and I can't wait to return to the joy of a heated front screen 馃グ 聽

isetta
They are usually McGard make. 聽I think Mcgard can supply one from a photo. If you put a pic of it on here we should be able to say if it looks like mcgard and/or it looks like it鈥檚 easy to get off with one of the universal tools.聽
unofix
As isetta has said they will be McGard nuts and the locking nut can be bought using just a photo for about 拢20
