Hello guys. Hoping you can help with your infinite wisdom.

I have a Zetec 1.1 fiesta mk8

ive bought a set of recaro ST seats and a steering wheel in the hope I could retrofit the heating function

ive also bought the clockspring for the wheel and an automatic AC unit and of course coded everything in on forscan.

still no luck in either being heated. Is there wires or connectors for either

pls help

Hi,

did you verified that the wiring was present ? Checked the correspondant positions on the fuse box? (Dont know if the fezza has two fuse boxes like the focus)
It's highly likely that perhaps you have to run wiring to have that on the car

Yes it does not have any of the connections needed. The fuses on the mk8 seats run directly off the main circuit fuse I believe. Turns on when cars on and no fuse specificed in the manual. Even if I knew what pins on the BCM correspond with the heated seats I’d be able to wire them up myself as one of the guys in a heated wheel forum have stated. Any information on BCM pins or on the underseat connections (yellow, brown, black, blue connectors meaning) would be much appreciated 🙂
