wellzy Posted July 3, 2010 Author Share Posted July 3, 2010 no my oil leak i think is from under the turbo poss the oil supply if not that then it's coming from behind the belt cover :o if it's an oil seal that means the engine being stripped it's good bye to the fiesta, hello x-trail. wellzy Posted July 3, 2010 Author Share Posted July 3, 2010 :D :D after washing it i put a container under the engine to catch some oil, just checked it and it had that smell of gearbox oil after pulling a cover off it turns out it's a little rubber boot where gear linkage joins to the gear box. explains why it has been so hard to get out of 2nd gear for the past few days. Sorry to bring up an old thread, but did you get this fixed or has it got worse? Yesterday I noticed a pool of oil on the engine block coming from a gap in the join between two rubber/plastic pipes.
