ford kuga PHEV does it support 22kwh ac chargers?

Featured Replies

as per title

granny charger - yes

7kwh house/public  -yes

but does it support 22kwh ac chargers ?

be very nice if it does as charge time would be short..

22 kwh chargers are supported but only at a charging speed of 3.7kwh. same as a 7kwh home wall box. Granny charger is 2.2kwh. so unless your in a hurry a granny charger would do for most charging requirements if charging over night.

The vehicle onboard charger is the limiting factor. Most bev electric cars are still only a max of 10kwh on ac charging with the exception of the leaf that can utilise 22kwh ac.

I only use a granny charger on my 38kwh ioniq
