Engine Problem

Hello there,

I am sorry if this has been listed elsewhere but I am need of some help..

I have just purchased a new Ford Fiesta. It is a 2011 Zetec with the 1.4 Tdci engine. I have had two other new shape Fiesta's previously both of which had the 1.4 Tdci engine in them.

The thing is, the engine in my new car is different to the previous two 1.4 Tdci's. One was a 2009 and the other was a 2010.

Is anyone aware of whether Ford revised the 1.4 Tdci in 2011? From looking in the manual my engine looks a lot like the 1.6 Tdci...

I have read on some sites that in some countries the 1.6 Tdci (75) is sold alongside the 1.4 Tdci as an alternative.

Does anyone know or can anyone help me further. I have tried to attach two pictures of my new car's engine but am struggling to host them. I will do this asap.

Many Thanks in advance....

Hi there,

Sorry for the delay - I had problems getting my pics hosted online.

Any way - here are my pictures.

Sorry the first one is blurred.

I ordered the 1.4Tdci - Is this the right engine as I think it is the 1.6Tdci...

Many Thanks.
