Hi all anyone know what this pic is on the ball joint on a anti roll bar drop link. Looks like a picture of a clock with number 11 in the middle.

Also the replacement on these anti drop links is it just a case of old one of by undoing the 2 bolts and new one on tightin 2 bolts job done.

I’m guessing it's a marking for setting a torque wrench to 11 when fitting the part.

Sell anything on eBay these days lol. I will have to do me own torque setting in me head i don't have a torque wrench so it will have to be very tight.

count the full rotations to taking the nut off and keep note for putting it back on that should help some anyway mate,

and if theirs a Hire place near you that lets out cangos and stuff, they mey rent out tourque wrenches B)

that if my therory is correct on this gauge :huh:

Looking at other parts on your car, I think you'll find its the manufacture date. ie the 4th month of 2011.

Mines a mk5 born 1/09/2001.

He did give an example date, not the one for your car. Hence the "ie" before it
