Parf
My 2.0 TDCi has been remapped to around 170BHP and I want to change the fuel filter. Now it has increased performance do i need a high flow performance fuel filter or will a regular aftermarket (Mann for example) filter do the job? Is there even any difference with the high flow ones or is it just a money making scam. Cheers
Barry_
I'll be honest and say I ain't really got a clue. Only thing I would say is how was it remapped?? Done proper by a company i assume (rather than a plug in box) - If so i would guess that they set the remap up around whats already installed (inc filter etc) Therefore I personally would be inclined to replace like for like. Parf
Yes it was done by proper company on a rolling road. That makes sense, plus I cant seem to find a high flow one anyway. Thanks for the help.
jeebowhite
High Flow Fuel Filter? sounds a bit naff to me, sounds like a fuel filter similar to a tennis racket rather than a sieve!

jeebowhite
I would genuinely be concerned about the filter gap sizes... they must be bigger to allow more fuel through, at the same time, no doubt they will allow more cack through as well...?
