zeglover Posted March 20, 2014 Share Posted March 20, 2014 Ford focus mk2 tdci 2l Blanked off egr valve I now get error code p0490 so engine light is on. Car runs better now no hesitation and such. jeebowhite Posted March 21, 2014 Share Posted March 21, 2014 Latest regulations state that the presence of any warning lights on the dashboard will result in a failure of the MOT. Specifically if they relate to the safety features of cars, but this can also include the EML if the errors relate to a system such as the exhaust systems.
