Nice & Clean But......

Featured Replies

Took 2 or so hours to clean to then clean the pretty much black wheels to find a nice surprise :(

Pictures are from an iPhone so may not be the best quality!

Is the car still in warranty?

Yeah mate, my local garage said they would sort it unless the wheel has been refurbed already by the garage I brought from.

They are clean!

They look marred, plus they're black on the inside. Car itself looks stunning though, can't beat a clean blue S1600

I see what you mean by the inside, I will get some more soft cloths and give it a proper clean inside! What do you use?

Not the best pics but here is a 50/50 of my exhausts off the S1600:

Products used:

Metal Polish! Great stuff... works wonders on the kitchen taps to ;)

Along with some wirewool #00 grade

Mix some polish on the wirewool and get rubbing, followed by some more polish on a microfibre, then a clean microfibre to remove excess polish and buff out.

They'll come out like brand new, guaranteed

No worries :) get some pics up when you're done :)

A polishing ball with the size of your exhaust tips for your drill is also a nice way to do this.

Looks great! You can even see a bit of water beading on the top of the exhaust. Clean exhausts definitely set off a car, also liking how you can see the shininess of the inside of the exhausts :D

Cheers mate, it took a good 2 hours to get them like that haha.

That's for the suggestion on what to use as well :)
