I will probably need to get my back windows done too, never even thought about that. I use it for work and the laptop is usually left on the back seat. Really impressed with Ford so not knocking them, just lots of little things that aren't on the cars that i am used to being standard so I don't think to ask.

Yeah pics don't do it justice, looks amazing in the metal.

Fords said they will do it for £180 but got a mate that knows someone who does them and he said he do it for £80

One thing i did notice - the back end has been getting a lot of stick. i really like it to be fair especially with the kit on. I wanted an A Class originally but couldn't make the lease numbers work. I was behind an AMG one on the way back from the dealers thinking thank god I didn't get one of those. Much prefer the Focus now tbh.

It looks great. I'm really quite tempted to get one now, although I'd want a powershift automatic and they're only doing that with the 1.6 125ps engine, so I'll wait to see if it becomes available with other engines. I definitely want more than 125ps in a Focus next time.

Does anyone know if things like active park assist can be added to existing new shape focus' or do such features need to be built in at the time of manufacture? Im currently in the market for a new focus and im looking out for bargains in the 2nd hand market... but being 2nd hand there appears to be an infinite array of differing options. Just wondering if what you see is what you get with regards to 2nd hand focus' or whether these gadgets can be purchased and have fitted to existing vehicles? Thanks.

Dont think it can be added as it needs to control the steering.

The MK3 had active park assist for parallel parking though. Either with TitX as standard or as part of the convenience pack on lower models.

alex do u know if the touchscreen can be added as im collecting my zetec s next week and the only extra I added was the appearance and convenience packs as I thought the touchscreen was standard until I read ur earlier posts

I'd say almost certainly that it can't be.

It is highly integrated with other components and programmed to be part of the car...

thanks for that bit disappointed as the dealer should have mentioned it at time of order. as I thought all the new focuses was having touch screen as some of the review seamed to suggest

Touchscreen is only standard on Titanium and Titanium X.

You have to add the Sync 2 Nav option to get it on the lower models.

What i dont understand is why dealers dont push extra's? When i bought my Astra new a couple of years ago i wasnt aware that it didnt have bluetooth after being used to it on my Mondeo's for years. My fault but i would much rather know what i can get on the car that it does not come with.

yes I think that was the case with me as they didn't even know about the grey. I think I would have pick it as I already had a black zetec s so in the end Ive gone for white

Both front and back look better in these photos courtesy of yourselves B) the front chrome grille surround isnt as pronounced as i first feared and the rear does look different.

Still prefer the old rear lights but its not enough to detract me!

The standard zetec s wheels look better now and less lost like they used to :)

Cant deny the newer dash with Sync is an improvement - although is it just me or do the non-sync versions look even more fussy now? Especially when its buttons are supposed to be 'tidied up'?

Yeah I'm gonna wait until March and get the Powershift with 1.5 ecoboost - hopefully.

Cannot wait till September 2015 when I can trade my mk3 zetec focus for the new one! excited....was tempted to change brand and go for a audi etc... but the new focus and interior and features has changed my mind!

My Panther Black Titanium with Sync 2 Nav and appearance pack will be here some time next week, will post pics when I get the chance 😀😀 seems alot of people are going for the zetec S!! Any reason as to why are just personal preference??

Also if anyone has got some experience having a good play on the sync 2 system could they share?? Would love to know all the little features that are hidden away

Picked mine up tonight in the dark - still don't feel like I have seen it! Great drive though, did about 30 miles. Love the feel and look of the interior. Really like the look of my poverty wheels also, not as disappointed as i thought i would be after seeing the appearance pack ones. Still prefer them but hey ho i will live.

Really looking forward to going to work tomorrow now - that doesn't happen very often!
