Focus Key Fob Battery

just changed the battery on my 05 focus key fob.

now it doesnt work!

ive tried the suggested key in ignition, turn to position I - II four to five times, wait for beep, press any button on key, wait for 2nd beep, wait 10 seconds etc.

No second beep.

Any ideas?



make sure the battery the right way around and check the metal contacts are good in the key

sometimes the don't connect

battery was in correctly, jiggled the contacts about a bit.

seems to be working but have to press the buttons quite hard to get response.

The buttons may need repaired you can buy repair kits from ebay or a replacement fob ford also can fix the buttons as will any mobile locksmith as its quite commom
