Jeff4155
So my package arrived from the other side of the country, and can highly recommend them if you ever doing the HID Kit in SA, they're called violet electronics and they really helped me even by saving me a few bucks. So I took the plunge and bought the 35w H7 (Non-canbus - Fiesta's don't need the canbus) 6000k HID Kit from Violet's, everything was as they said just plug and play, the hardest part of the install was removing the overly massive lights and the dredded clip that hold the H7 globe in place, this part has too be modified for it too work on the HID globe, see pic below As can be seen below the only way for the HID globes to work with the old clip is to cut a piece out for the globe with wires to slide in The pic below shows the clip with the original H7 globe in place The other small change that was made was cutting a small hole in the rubber seal for the wires to feed through, mine is about a centimeter in diameter and works perfectly once the gromet plug is in place to seal the hole everything should be waterproof. Before After Left is HID, right is standard, ps. if you can't see the difference have your eyes checked Both HID Hope this helps a bit, remember the HID kits works best with Projector lights Now too change that damn courtasy light, looks all yellow with the HID and the silver visions
Phil 87
Looks great, the blue tint of the lights matches the colour of the car :). Are those kind of HIDs legal in SA? (not legal in UK)

(not legal in UK) It's legal if it is in Projector lights and between 4000k and 6500k, the photo does look a bit blue, but it's as close to the real OEM's on the Audi/ Golf as you can get, all white with a tint of blue. I doubt our local law inforcement would even know, too be honest the the only thing that looks out of place now is the courtasy lights, I will have to get some LED's

Jeff4155
Have you got an image of where you've mounted your ballasts? seen so many images of different places where people have mounted theres on there Fiestas but just curious to see where you've put yours :) Mine's not mounted yet, the HID Kit came with metal brackets and I'm considering using them and fixing them too the underside of the lights, this way they will be out of sight, but my other option is to place the left one behind the water bottel and the right one next to the fuse box, both fixed with double sided tape too the vehicle itself, choices choices. Took a drive last night for the first time with them, and they are worth every cent, I think the people in charge sould make these HID the standard in every car, the only problem I have now is that the lights are set to low and yes I set the nob on the right of the steering wheel to it's highest setting, I'll have to set them manually, has anyone here done this before? Jeff4155
Ok, so I had the time and decided too adjust the height on the projectors after a quick google on how to do it, turns out they were way off, so can't wait for the sun to go down so I can see the results
