Charlie-_-
I hate to sound stupid but I have to ask what it means to de-tango my car? I've seen it on here a few times now and is it something to do with using clear indicators? :) Thanks guys Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
iNath
You replace the orange indicator bulbs with those that have a silver coating. They still flash orange though. Just gets rid of the fried egg look in your headlights.
Charlie-_-
Oh okay I see, are the indicators reasonably easy to replace in the fiesta? Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
matt1981
You will need a torx head screwdriver but they are easy to do. Haven't bothered doing the wing mirror ones myself

Charlie-_-
Do you have to remove the headlight/rear light unit in order to access the bulbs or can they all be changed whilst still attached to the car?
Willy
Do you have to remove the headlight/rear light unit in order to access the bulbs or can they all be changed whilst still attached to the car? Need to be removed to get to the bulbs :(
matt1981
You can change the front without taking it out but not the rear
ukcal
I've changed all of mine. In order of easiness for me: - Back - Wing mirrors - Front I really struggled with the front ones; I think I slightly broke the holders for the indicator bulbs as I pulled them out. Also, the bulbs only came out by being bent away; they wouldn't fit straight through the gap, unlike the ones I replaced them with. God knows how that was the case. Needless to say, they were changed and de-tangoing the car really does make a good difference, particularly the wing mirrors, I thought. Let me know if I can give advice (though perhaps not for the fronts!).
E5GDM
Front ones were easiest for me ukcal, you must have hands like shovels & fingers like bananas :)
ukcal
It might be because I have the Mk7, not 7.5. My fingers are actually thin and nimble, but that didn't stop me struggling! I changed my main beams earlier today without trouble too, but I wouldn't touch those indicators again :P
