The hydraulic ram pack up on my spring compressor so this is what i did to fix it i

bolted a scissor jack to the bottom of it and welded the bar that fit in to the hydraulic ram to the top of the scissor jack and it works well. machine mart want £55.00 for a new ram .They only cost £99.00 new on a vat free day plus it only worked twice since i bought it. its a bit of winding up and down but its saved it.Hope this helps someone with same problem.

forgot to say scissor jack came out of a transit van so should be strong enough

This ones payed for it self already haven't had it long but word gets a round fast that you have one.

They had a vat free day yesterday and i got some goodies post them up some time love the vat days :)

LOL I found that with my Sykes Pickavant automatic flaring tool master kit :lol:

That'll teach me for not checking my emails more frequently, I missed that one :(

The VAT free days are great :)

I find being on there mailing list better they send you a card with the dates on of vat days
