Im really interested in coming, I am starting to tart up my Focus MK2 Facelift, but am wondering, does it need to be pristine to show off? It's only a standard focus and the wheels are in a bit of state tbh.

Worth going, I've been 3 times, good chance to see (most of) the circuit if you've never been too.

I've been to most but never a car show

It's more of a massive meet than car show as such.

There are a few things going on but most of the "entertainment" is looking round all the cars and watching people on track.

You also have a massive trader area and of course the usuals like mountune and Ford are there. Ford usually put on a stunt show with one of the current performance car line up and have their new cars on show.

Sounds good to me first car meet haha

My tickets have been booked. Will be showing my car and bringing the missus. I've only been up to Silverstone twice I think for work related reasons, what time will I generally need to be there by and is the entrance to the event well advertised and easy to find?

My tickets are booked & paid for. For first time on this clubs stand lol!

Just get on the A43 and follow the brown tourist signs for Silverstone circuit this takes you to the main entrance. Make sure you follow the signs for club stands not public parking. I'd aim to arrive as early as possible as it gets very busy gates open about 6.30 but you have to be in by 8.30

Which most people generally aren't lol.

It seems to be "Join the back of the queue by 8:30", lol.

I usually aim to be there for 7:30. Still can take half an hour to get in. Does depend which route we get taken in though.

ill be camping the night in my fishing bivvy haha aint buying a tent if iv got a bivvy, so ill be up at 5 getting ready, first one so will the stand be set up already.

friday and saturday will be busy cleaning the old gal, and sunday morning ill be getting the bugs off and the last bit of dirt i picked up on the way down.

Gates open at 0700 and usually they like cars in position on club stands by 0830.
Show opens properly at 1000.
iirc they prefer no exit before 1630.
