slip road is closed now, police have sent us past. The other side has a massive queue too.

Don't know whether to join queue on other side or just head home once through this. Don't want to sit in queue on otherwise only to be told I can't get on stand.

I assume it's not normally like this? Last time I attended I queued but off the A43, but that was about 8+ years ago.

That was some effort. Got in a while ago. Parked up. Mines on the left.

Back home now, 7hrs round trip, lol. At least I saw some nice Ford's on route. I wasn't the only one driving in the wrong direction on the way back either.

It would have probably taken me another hour and a half or more from where I was to get in, at the time when I gave up. Didn't want to take the chance they wouldn't let me in after waiting that long on top of nearly 2hrs already.

i was thinking about jumping in my car and poping up to ford fair earlier this morning until i read your posts. checked google maps traffic and changed my mind.

Great day camped the night with phil and his son great day and great company a few pics most of my car lol bought fromt show plate a new airtec induction kit (im in love with the throttle responce and the noise) and got the new fog surrounds off chris from paintmodz highly recommend, chris also fitted my induction kit on the day too as i didnt bring any tools, the day sounded like a shooting gallery lol pops and bangs all day 

I might consider camping next year. Do you camp on site then can bypass the queues?

I'm never going through what we went through today again on queues.

I'll either have to stay/camp local or get there for gates open.
