Depends on your journeys.

My mum gets about 38 from her 1.0 estate around town, but it can hit nearly 50 on a run.

I will be just going to work and back in a bit of traffic....

also it may help when this silly diesel tax when driving into certain cities..

Which engine Ecoboost are you thinking of going for? 1.0 is the most common but there's a 1.6 and latterly a 1.5 Ecoboost with 150-180hp. Plus then the ST with the 2.0 Ecoboost

In my experience of my Focus 1.6 Ecoboost 150 I get an average of 36-37 MPG in mixed driving FYI.

well I didn't know there was that many

I think its just the 125 bhp model as I want the lower car tax band on it.

Do s the engines above come in the zetec s model?

as im looking for a 16 plate focus, also how can I find out if they are the higher bhp models?

thanks for the info dave1987

The ST-Line took over from the Zetec S at some point in 2016, but both the 1.0 125PS and 1.5 150/180PS engines should be available on both Zetec S and ST-Line.

The 1.6 Ecoboost was discontinued from the Focus at the end of 2014.

Ok wicked

thanks for the information, lets see if I can find a 150bhp model... as loads are the 125bhp for sale only

Test drive them both, I prefer the 125PS and it's better on fuel.
