I'm looking at lowering my fiesta, I originally wanted coilovers but someone said not to & just to use lowering springs... What do you think? What do you have on your car??

Thanks.

Depends if you just want looks or ride comfort as well really.

Springs are better for comfort but only come in set heights (40mm or 60mm usually) so can't always get the perfect look.

Coilovers can be adjusted as high or low as you like, but cheap coilovers do impact the ride comfort.

Yeah i heard the cheaper eBay coilovers to be hard on ride comfort. My dad has Eibach springs on his car and the stiffness isn't too bad. My zetec s has stiffer suspension so that shows.

A decent pair of coilovers will be double the price of some lowering springs. Unless your car is an ST, it's not worth spending that much money on a mk6.

Get someone to do it unless you've got a lot of patience and dexterity lol!!

Tints I've heard are a pain in the back to do unless your well experienced in doing it. I'd get it done professionally by a place but could try it out yourself as practice.
