It's fixed! Or is it.... Oh I don't feckin know!! Cars been sat for a couple of days, came home from work at 2pm today with laptop, found my https://tunnelrat-electronics.fwscart.com/TRE27_USB_AUTO_MS_HS_CAN/p4541936_18511559.aspx ....tried to start the car before connecting laptop and she fired right up. Switched off and on several times and eventually gave the same fault of flashing PATS light. Plugged in the Laptop and Forskin points at exactly what you pointed to guys ie Transponder signal not received etc. Unplugged the transponder, checked the wires, all seems in order with no 'obvious' breaks or damage, plugged it back in and it worked and then didn't, bent the internal pins slightly for better connection in the plug, it worked and then didn't. I suspected the transponder ring then remembered my daughter's transponder threw the same fault. Hmm. Anyway, after faffing about with the wires I can't now get it NOT to work. I hate curing a fault this way because i've no idea if it's really cured. Gonna wait till the temperature drops tonight and try to start it again. At least I know that both keys are still working for sure, and tomorrow i'll re-solder the ICU and use a magnifying glass to inspect it closely. I'm sure i've got further problems to come but thanks to you guys i'm convinced i'm looking in the right place. Just another thought - if I had a bad relay or fuse (iv'e checked em all anyway) I wouldn't be getting the flashing PATS would I? With a bad relay or fuse my PATS light would go out and then still wouldn't turn over. That'd be right wouldn't it? Thanks for the continued support 🙂1 point

If I had a standard model fiesta I probably would. The zetec s I have along with the optional extras it has like the red dashboard and rear factory tints sets the car off. It's very rare also to see a fiesta come like this from the factory so I'd kind of feel bad changing the exterior or interior. Actually saw a green anniversary fiesta twice last week and it looked really nice. Only mod I saw was the owner sprayed the wheels gloss black. Makes it hard for me to decide whether to get that or a white ST1 point

Had mine done with a service a couple of weeks ago. Can't say I have noticed any difference. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk1 point

I want to try to keep the car looking standard. Stuff like the lights I changed you won't notice until the night. @Nick Y I heard about that today on the radio. I don't think it's a good thing to keep changing the presenters. Funny thing today in uni was I was watching a video about MRSA with Richard Hammond as the presenter1 point

Yes, I have the Focus mist jets on my ST but the only thing I have read about adjusting where the spray goes is by using a bit of glue/blutack in the slot. Can't remember where I have read this but haven't done so myself as I don't find the spray to be an issue. **Edit** Found this thread if it's any help:1 point

I don't like hearing that Top Gear is changing again and instead of just replacing Matt LeBlanc, they are replacing Rory Reid too for an ex-cricketer and some tv gameshow host/ex-comedian (Flintoff and McGuiness). Do either of them know about cars like Rory Reid and LeBlanc did? Rory will still be on the show sometimes but will be seen more as the presenter of Extra Gear and in a more online role. Rory was great as a presenter so I cant understand why BBC are making these decisions.1 point

There is a 1.0 non-turbo available in the Fiesta, only 80ps and not much more claimed MPG iirc...1 point

This was discussed before on the forum (July 2017) but the conclusion appeared to be the hot exhaust does give off a strong burning smell as you've described? See1 point

Under the new MOT regs anything over 40mm within the wipers swept area is a fail, so under the wipers should be ok, but some testers aren't getting that right either currently. However as you don't need MOT for 2 years it's not a problem. A policeman can't fine you for it unless it's affecting your vision. As it's hidden, it might be worth leaving it for a while to see if it gets any bigger. As the Mk8 hasn't been out long you might also find problems getting a screen, Mum had to wait ages for a screen to be shipped over from Japan when her fairly new Swift needed the screen replaced as there just weren't any over here and the aftermarket companies weren't making them so soon.1 point

Dsc controller installed today here a review of it online I would 100% agree with this review it’s what made me buy one and I love it done 150 miles today after the install and I cannot get enough on how the RS feels and handles now also installed the F1 style fog brake light unit again link below on how it works I tidyed the wiring up after and recovered everything in electrical tape to protect all the connections and finally the front end of the car is slowly coming together now! Custom carbon to gloss black faded oem splitter!1 point

I like when you order a clip light from china, its a double one but one side is hard to turn on so just sent them a message that the light is hard to turn on. They said ''send a picture of the light not working'' which i did not say it didn't work so yes guess what i did, turned one off and one on and another one on the way. Fools or what.....sent a picture of a light not working.1 point
