What's The Best Solution To Cure A Burned Seat...!?

Recommended Posts

Hi Gangs, been a while sense I was last been online here...

Anyway's I have question to ask about burnt seat!?

Story goes that a couple of months back I was driving in my dad's classic car one day and all the breaks seeds up. So my dad puts a glass bottle of water in the back seat of my Focus and turns up and found that my back seat was completely wet through! So after that I decided to use a hair dryer to dry up the seat up and by accident I putted the hair dryer onto my seat to dry it more and made some burnt holes in it. BUGGER!

So what's the best solution to cover up the burnt hole's...?

PS. Here are 2 photo's of the evidence lol

I'll perhaps go with Clive's solution would be beneficial for me to sort it out when I get the time to get round to doing it. :)

I would sew it before it gets sat on it will only get worse. I know its not an ideal long term solution but it will stop it from worsening. A few years ago I bought some patches from a motor show stand. They had 100's of colours and patterns. Worked well as the seat I was repairing didnt have a pattern. was almost unnoticable.
