Fuel Filter Replacement

Hi all,

Do I need to depressurise the fuel system before I change the fuel filter on a Mk3 2.0L TDDI Mondeo (2001)? Or can I go straight ahead and remove the old filter?

Also when filling the new filter I presume I add the fuel in through the pipe marked "IN"?

Does the tddi engine use the same type canister fulter as the tdci?

If so, have a look at the guide in my signature. No need to depressurise anything
