Has a little miss fire when put under load, had new plugs, HT leads and filters any idea on what else it could be? Also... heater only work on number 4 and now they have started making a weird weeering noise aswell but only when driving? One more thing... Can i put fog lights in my bumper or is it a pain to wire up? i had them on my last focus so want them again! Any help is appreciated! Vendee
Misfire is probably the coil pack....quite a common problem. The heater is another well known problem. Its caused by a failure of the heater resistor pack. Its not too hard to fix yourself. You may have to fit a modified plug and loom. Google for "Focus heater resistor". Here's one link http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/?t=56313 Can't help with your fogs.
artscot79
Coil pack then he dielectric grease put on each end of ht leads also make sure the plugs are gapped at 1.0mm as most are 1.3mm out the box as for the fogs look up behind the bumper if the wires are taped up then yes you can fit them you'll need the fogs and a new headlight switch

Vendee
You know, I'm sure I told you how to fix your heater resistor in post #3 To fix the noise, you will have to remove the heater fan, clean any debris and try get some lube onto the fan bearings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF5AduESwp4
Ford41
As Paul said above, faulty resistor pack is what makes it only work on 4. mine did the exact same thing (very common). A replacement resistor pack cost me £15 new off eBay and to change it you have to take out the glove box, undo the screw holding the resistor in place, plug the new one in, screw it back into place and refit the glove box.. pi$$ easy but can be a little fiddly :P Best thing to do with the noise would be to follow that video to check for debris and if that doesnt solve it, have a look through the ventilation pipes as something could be partially blocking one (eg something been dropped in a vent and got stuck) :)
