Marker Posted September 2, 2015 Share Posted September 2, 2015 FORD SIERRA SAPPHIRE SALOON 2ltr, MANUAL, p/s (1991) Having owned two other Sierras before this one, I have always found it a very easy job to remove and replace the alternator. However with this model, which has automatic drive belt tensioner, I cannot see how to remove the alternator from it's mounting. All previous cars have had a straight through securing bolt but I cannot see how this one is secured. Any help gratefully accepted including how to remove whatever securing device exists.
