Changing to after market speakers

Guys I'm looking to change my standard Speakers to after market 1s but not sure which connectors I need can anyone help I have a Ford Focus mk2.5 facelift style 2008  is it the white connector or black 1 I need to buy thanks

If memory serves, I believe it's the white one.

If you want an easier option though just solder/crimp the wires to the speaker terminals and use electrical tape to cover the terminals.

I would rather not cut anything just in case I change anything back when comes to selling it thanks

You could use bullet connectors and the beauty is you can change back to standard easily.

Note that you also need an adapter to fit aftermarket Speakers. The original Speakers have an integrated housing. Most people that install aftermarket Speakers cut the speaker cone and magnet out of the original speaker housing and use this as an adapter for the aftermarket speakers.

If you do not want to damage the original speakers you have to buy or make a pair of adapters.
