I would so give that STI a neck wringing just for revenge!! ha ha

Maybe not again, last time the tyres didnt look too good! Also lent his bike when mine was in for a service and few bits being done..

That was a 1000rr, i got a little addicted to the extra torque and his back tyre didn't look very healthy.

The Fiesta was returned doing 42mpg rather than the 38/39 i normally get so came back without being ragged much :)

I picked mine up on Christmas Eve 2008 with 12 on the clock. It's now got 8,472. I had the first service on the 14th of Dec (I didn't fancy going through that so close to Christmas so asked for it to be a week early.

Does that mean you have had it "off the clock" I've done that once. I know the speedo is not 100% correct to the road speed, but I have had mine in a place where the numbers ran out

I had it close to the place of no numbers but i dint dare take it there.. not just yet - it's just too young for that.

a reset of the average speed flashed up as 124 - stretch of the legs i say!

Into 10k now anyway might see what it can do when the snow clears

TDCI Zetec S

ah right. I have the 1.6 Ti-VCT and there really wasn't anything left to give after about 125. This was on the m/way in Germany and I couldn't resist checking it out given the chance! Quite suprised by your findings of the Diesel as its max speed is supposedly less than the petrol

Does your avatar thingy mean you're an Officer? [EDIT: ignore that <<<<, I just read your post in other thread :)]

I was suprised to see it get over 115 as i'v had it at that before and didn't want to give me much more.

Had it on the a120 going towards marks tey just before christmas an ended up with a renault magane sport reading the small print on my reg plate, i had to let him past at about 124 - i was more than happy! girlfriend was bricking it tho..

I agree, Motorway driving is nice aswell. whilst in 5th, 70-100mph the torque in the TDCi is Brilliant!

No one can say the fiesta is boring

13 months old and 3300 miles on the clock.

Do you not drive your car? That must be like 3 miles per day for 13 months. I've done 890 miles since 5th March 2010, but that's just driving to work. Hopefully go on a few road trips this summer.

It's my wife's car, she does very little driving. Within 2 months of her getting it, it was sat on the drive for about 10 weeks as she couldn't drive it due to an operation. I drive it occasionally, usually when it's snowing where mine is no good.
