Jonro2009 Posted May 18, 2017 Share Posted May 18, 2017 I guess you can as most space saver spare tyres are not the same as the one it is replacing. Where possible you should add an inch to the 'standing height' of the new tyre to make up for the smaller rim. In your case it is an inch as you are using a 15" with 3x 16" wheels.
