Add current/instant fuel consumption in Focus Mk2 Ghia

Featured Replies

I read somewhere that it's possible to add current / instant fuel consumption to dashboard in Focus Mk2. Now I have just average fuel consumption.

And video confirms it's possible: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=k92peqpW5mI While shown on video is low height display with two lines, I have heigher display, I guess like Mk2.5.

If someone knows know, please explain. I can use Forscan or ELMconfig.

It's possible, of course. In elmconfig, there should be a option in HEC, to turn on "Instant fuel consumption" - or something very similar to that, I don't remember the exact name...turn it on, re-start the car and drive...you should be able to see the instant consumption on one of the "pages" of the cluster menu. It's working with all types of cluster except the most basic one with only mileage showing.

Thank you, I did it, very easy. I couldn't find that option in Forscan. Seems that ELMconfig has more options for MK2.
