i am getting a humming sound coming from the air filter box when i lift the top cover. The sound gets louder when i rev the car.

    Could it be a fin of the filter vibrating?

    Could be the airbox itself of it is loose.

    You could try removing the filter - obviously don't let any crap enter your engine but see if the humming stops.
