Hi Guys. i have an issue with my cmax. if i accelerate quickly . the screen at bottom of speedo flashes a  a engine systems fault and red light comes on . ''as per picture''received_2784004831639012.thumb.jpeg.31ec701a14bfa6612bc6c9ec4df71273.jpeg. turbo is working and no loss of power, no limp mode. does anyone have any ideas. some times stays on, sometimes goes straight off.but if i turn engine off and restart, it disappears.    thank you

You need to get the codes read when they fault happens and before you turn the ignition off, as some  ode clear on shut down, you can do this your self with a free program called Forscan free down load from there site and a modified ELM cable from a company called tunnelrat, you will need a laptop to.

Thank you for reply, i have had this done while running , throwing up a turbo super boost error. but nothing else. turbo been tested and is working. i was hoping for some sort of sensor error.

Overboost error should cause limp mode, are you sure that's all that comes up?  You're looking at either sticky turbo vanes, faulty turbo actuator or faulty MAP (boost) sensor.
