Hi, 

anyone hear any updates on when F9 will be released?

My Focus map F7 is clearly out of date

Ford just say sometime in 2020

just contacted Ford and they have no idea at all when the F9 will be released.

Anyone contacted Ford about F9?

No point. They wont know the answer and will just churn out the usual automated response.

Spoke to Ford, due out next couple of weeks.

There's no point in F9. Well slightly, but really should be F10 by now. I've been *lucky* to have F9 for probably over a year now, but even they are well out of date.
So when they figure thier update issue they'd be best using newer data.

I can't wait for my two year out of date F9 maps!!! WhoooooHoooo!!

There's certainly a point in it if your stuck on F7 like loads of us on here

I did say "slightly" for that reason. Updating isn't a quick process, so all I'm saying is while working on a fix for thier own flaws to allow an update to work, then use the latest data, which would then make it F10.

Still waiting........... Checked on ford.co.uk and nothing.

F9 is out now 

you need to be on the sync 3.4 though I think. And on the latest build

Ford have never released F9 as an update, at best it's installed on cars built since October.

Same goes for 3.4.

Not looked officially pal. Just what I’ve seen when doing the unofficial update

So we are still waiting for the official update from Ford?

Yes, there is a chance all updates are on hold, it's not a good idea to release an update when dealers and CS aren't in a position to help if there are issues.

I'm running F8 but it was pre-installed.

And you have 3.4, built since October, I thought they may have done F9 same time, guess not.

Well I at least believe it's F8.

I've just yesterday upgraded to f9. On my 2006 st3, that I did the unofficial upgrade to 3.4.

I downloaded the files from here...

Hello everyone, This week I updated my Focus to Sync 3 and the latest maps. as of 20 April 20.

The system now knows everything is up to date. Does anyone know how to check what is included in the latest update?

I tried contacting Ford on the chat line but they don't know and suggest I contact a dealer....

Any advice gratefully received 

Ford don't release changelogs unfortunately.

It's usually just bug fixes. Only the major version changes have things that are of any significance usually.

Anyone know if the new F9 (or10) maps update will be OTA download?

if (IF) it ever gets released by Ford. 

Just contacted ford and that do not appear to be aware that an update is looooong over due. 
 

at this rate I will be getting a new car before updates are released for 18.5my models
