I like winning one over ford. They quoted 460 for all four corners brakes, bought disks for 100 quid and tried fitting myself, unfortunately some numpty put the brake calipers on with an air gun...

So I paid a great garage 70 quid to replace all four corners!

try taking the car out for a blast with lots of heavy braking to heat them up. bolts come off much better then.

Cheaper than St Brakes, cheapest set is £515 all in. not too bad a deal that.

True that but a lot more heat would be needed to beat the vice of an air gun lol

I like when my uncle tells me a joke. Sadly for various reasons he made the mistake of buying a zafira a good few years ago (he was done over by his escort then focus he had before the vauxhall) but he told me he recently had to buy a new wingmirror, because... Well.... Just because it wanted to.

It reminds me of the time my best man's knob fell off in his hand... Yeah that's right... He was driving me to another of our offices down the motorway and as we were barrelling along he had hold of his gearknob and it just... Fell off in his hand...

Just read the gambling section, having worked in a bookies I can tell you it's rare that anyone wins... Certain customers are 'monitored' generally because of the number of bets they place or the volume of cash they bet and generally these guys are the 'big guns' they study the games/races/dogs etcetc, they float around the break even mark, some slightly above some slightly below, but they all think they're well ahead...

I beat the bookies to become mortgage free at 26, not bookies well online Casino gambling but all the same.

Mate of mine planned to go Oz last year for a year, made £14k profit on just sports betting in 7 months and paid for the trip, went to the GP, Tennis and Cricket too all top end baller seats.

Stupid accumulators do pay off, people lose when they gamble more to reclaim their losses then the bookies win big time.

TIL, home time, going to home to play GTA and ignore the wife and her nagging for as long as I can / until internet mysteriously turns off and makes me leave the man cave.

It's a Sea Cadet unit (well, part of it...or was) and we wouldn't be able to afford the disposal of a Vauxhall as well as the building

Besides, it's only a portacabin type job - wouldn't do much, even to a Vauxhall.
