I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

Typical Scottish ford owner?

No!!! 😉

The thing I don't get is by the picture it was evening time. I wonder where that guy was going in such a rush at that time.

Run out of cigarettes, night shift at work, who knows? More than likely though he/she just couldn't be bothered clearing it!

They were from Thurso! That should explain everything 😀😀😀

In the morning I got my warm cup of water and poured it over the windscreen and doors to defrost it. Left home 10 minutes late but no problem. Rushing ain't good and mostly causes people to drive bad.

he should have gone out a bit earlier and cleared the whole car. Case of P.P.P

***** poor planning.lol

That film brings back memories. I remember when I was 4 years old in my first year of school and the teacher putting this on. A few days ago I went through the back roads with my mum. Drove past my primary school and 2 houses we used to live in and my mum telling me stories about those times. How times had changed then

I grew up in the country side much like the area in the images above, winter is lonely in those environments The snowman was a huge hit with me too; the magic of it all,

I took my kids to see it projected on screen with a live orchestra in Dublin Christmas 2017 it was quite emotional, I'm not sure if there as fascinated by it as much as I was at there age because they live near friends and in a town, as you say; how times change

@zain611 maybe next December take your parents, they would appreciate the shared memories and puts everyone in the mood for Christmas  https://www.londontheatredirect.com/musical/2469/the-snowman-tickets.aspx

Don't think they will play the DubStep version though lol

I don't like last weeks ice damaging my drivers side wiper blade...  First winter I've not had a heated screen since 2013/14 lol.

But of course this is the DO like thread...I do like finding a set of brand new genuine VW blades, bought by someone that had since sold their Golf, for just a fiver on ebay, including postage!  I'm never usually in the right place at the right time for bargains like that!

(I did wait until they actually arrived before posting this, as I really wasn't expecting them to...especially as the postage alone cost 5 pence more than the price I paid lol)

I got a great deal on Amazon UK

Picked up a set of BT4600 phones for my mother, got a triple set for 52.00Gbp

Makes our Argos Ireland catalogue look like a joke book with the difference in prices 😀 they want €96.00 for a twin set of BT4600 phones.

Also saved loads on Amazon echo devices compared to purchase in Ireland
