I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

I would love to cruise past in a big roaring V8 giving it an Inbetweeners style "Electric car wankers!"😂

Joint 1st place!!![emoji1787]

Thankfully that's what the fuel filter is for.

Indeed...still only got 51 litres into the claimed 53 litre tank though...so still another 20 miles in there really!  £65 for that tank of diesel though, can't afford to fill it again now until April.

This isn't the 1950's any more Wes, we have plastic tanks and properly filtered fuel nowadays.  I've stripped 20 year old/200k mile cars and never found anything in the tank that shouldn't be there!

The benefits of using super

It filled with the full capacity afterwards too so hopefully that implies nothing in there taking up any volume...

I've had a few tanks out over the years and like you say never found any crud in any ☺️

Jeez, ok ok, I was wrong lol, I naively believed the myth of run your tank to the bottom and it could knacker your car.

Get over it.😉😂

That's what I thought but guess I'm wrong. Does make sense thinking about it hence the fuel filter. When I did the first service on owning my car the fuel filter hadn't been changed for around 6 years when looking at the manufactured date. The thing was filled with water. I think people worry about the problem of starting the car when you disconnect it but what my dad does is use a hand primer to suck some diesel into the filter. Car doesn't struggle to start after.

I do like these mpg figures 😊. Car is claimed 72mpg. Drove down a dual carriage and reseted the average mpg before. Was booting it in some bits.

Car is claimed 72mpg on paper so just was 1 off 😉. The computer shows around 50mpg I average when driving on normal roads.

I do like making it from Leicester to Cardiff and back (with traffic) on a single tank. Did a steady 75mph too so was very impressed with the MPG as usually I’d have to fill up somewhere on the way back. Also 99 Momentum was 115.9 so stuck some of that in as a treat for its good behaviour! 😂 Though not sure what difference it’ll make.

Was watching the one show tonight  and saw a girl from my work being interviewed very briefly about road safety.she hadn't mentioned it to us. Lol

Probably didn't want it to be an open thing. There's some people who don't openly talk about 'big' things they've done in their lives.

They may not aware they were on tv 🙂

I've done screen shot and printed it out for tomorrow with the title

" On the one show tonight ****** is talking about Std's and how to get treatment.

Lol
