@Lenny really like that but honestly what normally person is going to say 'I specifically want an explosive proof phone' 😂. If a bomb dropped on you, you'd be finished but the phone will survive. What good would that be 🤣

I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

It's not that the phone is explosion proof rather that it's safe to use in an enviroment where a spark or electrical pulse from an unprotected electrical device could ignite gases, powders, fuels or anything RF sensitive like explosive detonators etc.
It's called intrinsically safe equipment.

Personally, I would say cleaned, but not highly polished 😉😎

What about phone screen protectors? I remember my sister's screen protector saying explosion proof or bullet proof

Unless the screen protector is about 4 inch thick glass with multiple layers of lamination and coatings it won't stop a wet f a r t

Tbh, a waterproof case would be more useful in those circumstances.

Our eldest is on her fourth screen protector in three months

This is Liam, he's asleep beside me on the sofa having been toilet training all day 😅

He appears to be dreaming; looks as though hes barking then drinking water, also I've highlighted the fact he has an extra claw on his back right foot

Liam is a nine week old bernese beagle was supposed to be a girl called Coleen but when we went to collect the girl; she wasn't very active among the litter and they had a cancellation on the boy so we took the boy; I wanted to call him Sheamus but the rest of the family chose Liam so this Is Liam dreaming 😂

I do like managing to put together an IKEA wardrobe correctly, the first time, without having to get our joiner in to sort it out!!! 😄

Looking excellent mate 👍

Another manual to add to the CV

I was thinking of sending all my IKEA manuals into them along with a CV cover letter to explain the dates I built each one ☺️ see what they would say

I hope you did not resort to reading the instructions!!

I was assembling a gate, a complicated bridleway thing with a big hockey stick latch, and my co-assembler noticed bits of paper in the packets of bits. I pointed out that, as males, we did not need instructions, and he promptly left them on the ground!

In fact, we could have done with some instructions for the final assembly of the hockey stick thing, but that part of the assembly had no paper in it at all, so we were left to guess. Needless to say it did not work when built: The self rising hinges clashed with the latch mechanism, but a bit of dowell bashed into the incorrect bolt hole, and some new holes drilled did get it working nicely.

Instructions, ha. They are usually in incomprehensible gibberish translated from Chinese via German to English, anyway!

Yep...all kit used onboard our ships is intrinsically safe (even the non-tankers...makes life easier...apparently...)

It does amuse me how the rules are applied for personal devices.  We can't use them out on deck during cargo operations, but if we step back a couple paces, off the main deck area, we're suddenly no longer in the flammable envelope and can use our phones...

🤣

I like my MSi i found from a ebay shop as good as like the one i have but a bit better spec like SSD and its excelent condition as its a 3 years old laptop and was £1200 when new.

Very very good price.

Also the lid for the one i have now as the hinge i broke and wire so screen was off and on,got complete Lid/screen/hinges etc all in one £70 and like new and fitted.

Got to be careful with the MSi but there a dam good laptop in spec/speed and i have tried a few.

I do like winning a facebook competition. It was run by Haynes manuals and the one I won was about building model kits.

I once won a model aircraft kit in a competition in a comic (I think it was the "Hotspur") about 55 years ago - not won a thing since! 😡

@Eric Bloodaxe I had one lucky streak back in primary school where I won about 4 things on a raffle with 5 tickets. I don't recall having much luck in competitions since.

My father once won the second prize in a Pepsi scratch card competition for a 1 week trip to a theme park in Spain for a family of 4. The only thing was that the competition wasn't open to the restaurants owner's and family's etc. and he had to give it to a friend to claim.

Drove to work this morning with the windows down as the outside air temperature was perfect. A nice side effect was being able to listen to the turbo!

I like hoping onto gta online yesterday to see the new casino update. There's this wheel you can now spin and I got really lucky and got a car from it on the first go 😂. One of the brand new cars from the update costing 2.3 million but gotten for free

I love the casino update. I did my first wheelspin on Tuesday and won 25k casino chips. Yesterday I won the Thrax and now I've completed all the missions for the casino (not the freemode contact ones where you call her), I also have another free, armoured car.
I also like the customisation options for the penthouse and that you can buy wall art, statues etc using the casino chips.
The car you can win from the wheelspin changes every week so a new one will be put on the podium next Tuesday.

That's interesting. I have 43 million and around 2.3 million aside which I like to see how much I've got from import export and the crate missions. I'm gonna try and get another say 4 mill before thinking about getting the penthouse as I don't like to go less than 40 mil. Just got the thrax painted in a satin black / gunmetal colour. The colour I put on just all my car's.

The unreleased cars look nice also. Really like the zion classic which is a old classic BMW 6 series. I bought the sentinal classic last which is a E36 3 series.

I had $81m just before the update dropped and I still have $73m. The penthouse cost me about $5.8m but I didn't add the media room which would have pushed the cost upto $6.5m.
$40m is a good safety buffer for money on the game.

I bought the Sentinel classic a long time ago and put it in classic BMW race livery. I also own a few Ford vehicles in the game including the Mk1 escort (Vapid Retinue) and the Flash GT (based on a Fiesta, Focus and Golf).
I have over 50 cars in the game now plus several aircraft and a few bikes plus lots of properties.

I can't stand this heat myself, even with both windows down it's too hot for me, but I do like the ice cold AC in this weather...even if it does knock the MPG a bit!
