Hi all,

Me again. So I know I don’t have the LED lights in the car, I only had the halogen (I changed these for LEDs). However. I was getting the car cleaned and noticed when they was in the car and moved it, one side lights dimmed and one got brighter.
i didn’t think the edge came with any adaptive lights unless you got the LED ones?

If you have your DRLs only on (which should be on by default) and you then indicate, the DRL on the side of the indicator flashing dims, so as to make the indicator clearer. When the indicator goes off, the DRL goes back to full brightness.

Not sure if this Is what you mean. Also if your lights are on and you are travelling slow, when you turn the steering the relevant fog lamp on the same side as you are turning, lights up to illuminate the verge on that side. Any of these relevant ?

Sorry for the delay in replying and thank you for replying mate. Yeah that clears it up perfectly!

also  The manua headlamp leveller, il know the number you set this at depends on what weight is in the car but what is the normal average setting? Mine was at 3 but it didn’t light much do thr road up. It’s now at 1 - would this be ok?

Under normal driving conditions (no excess weight or towing), the manual headlight adjustment should be set at 0.
No wonder your headlights didn't light up much of the road if the adjustment dial was set to 3. The lights would have been pointing down on the road and not forward.
