Noise at idle

Hello I have a 2007 Ford fiesta zetec s 1.6 petrol and I have a whining noise while the car is idling.

The noise only occurs when the revs reach around the 800 rpm mark where its idling when warm.

The noise is still there wether I press the clutch in or not and doesn't change when doing that.

The noise isn't present when driving and when I rev the car the noise goes away.

Any help will be appreciated.

Any help will be appreciated as this is driving me up the wall and the garages I have been too can't think what it could be. I used a mechanics stethoscope and the noise is loudest around the starter motor, bell housing area.

I think he means that it sounds pretty normal.   It does to me.

I think it's just the restricted airflow through the throttle body at that low idle speed.

I used a mechanics stethoscope and it seems to be coming from the gearbox area but the noise stays constant whether the clutch is in or not so I don't know what could be causing it.

The noise only seems to be there when the engine has warmed up and the revs reach the 750rpm mark, as soon as I rev the engine the noise dissappears but comes back when the revs reach the 750 mark. Using the clutch makes no difference too the noise.
