MasterTechTip Posted March 26, 2021 Share Posted March 26, 2021 Yeah it's pretty normal in new vehicles now as all the lights are LED and don't really produce any heat to clear it. Fords "fix" for customers is to leave the lights on for 20 mins+ to try and clear. The light units can only be replaced under warranty if there is physical water droplets forming and running down the inside of the lens. Ian Lanc Posted May 16, 2021 Share Posted May 16, 2021 I'd take the lights out, remove the black plastic cover & all wiring, then use a hair dryer on gentle heat warming the entire light, blowing into the open holes at the rear, keep at it until all the damp/water has evaporated away, allow the light to cool, then refit back into the car.
