Passenger seat clunking

Featured Replies

Passenger seat making a clunking noise when someone is sat in it when cornering. Don't know if frame is cracked.  Any ideas please.

Thank you

some versions, (mine does) have a secret compartment under the passenger seat - if yours has and you don't know about it ensure there isn't anything in the tray. Mine did it and i found a plastic case with 2 sets of wireless headphones - also a remote control, i then realised i had a dvd player and flip down screen on the roof panel.

otherwise inspect the seat assembly

Thank you for your reply.  I know about the shelf under the seat and removed all items from it . Sadly it still clunk's.

I will remove the seat and check it on a bench to see if any welding as failed.  Thanks again.
